Chiyomi Anzai "Anchovy" is Anzio's overall commander, who uses a Carro Armato P 40 heavy tank. She wears the uniform of the Black Shirts, similar to that of Benito Mussolini. Anchovy is a self-confident, hot-blooded, sometimes even cruel leader, seeing every Sensha-dō battle as personal duel between the leaders. Due to this attitude she even tends to insult enemies before the match, calling them weak and cowardly. However, she also cares about her subordinates and is a capable tactician.

Her name "Anchovy" refers to a kind of pickled or preserved fish which a favorite food among European countries located in the Mediterranean like Italy.
